Mozilla get from Google is nothing more remarkable since Google in the EU is still the default search engine on Firefox. In other parts of the world is Mozilla meanwhile teamed up with companies like Yahoo (USA), Baidu (China) and Yandex (Russia).
Dixon Thayer admits a new deal with Google probably would provide more revenue, but that Mozilla feels better at the moment without the money of the neighbor. Incidentally Mozilla Google has in recent years become a lot less interesting partner. Previously Firefox Google offered the perfect opportunity to compete with Microsoft's Internet Explorer, but now Google is itself a leader in the web browser market with Chrome.
