Morocco is going to take back boat refugees

Spain has made agreements with Morocco about the partial withdrawal of refugees who are rescued at sea between the countries.

From now on, this no longer applies automatically. If Spanish rescue ships, in cooperation with the Moroccan coast guard, bring people out of the sea, they may be brought to Morocco if they are closer to the coast of that country. Previously, together with the EU, Spain had pledged 140 million euros to support border control and better integration of refugees.
