More than 30 flights diverted

Direct has diverted air traffic control all traffic on the way to Brussels after the terrorist attacks on the Brussels airport Tuesday morning around 8:00 am.

Thirteen of them eventually landed at Liège Airport, eight at Ostend, seven in Charleroi, two in Antwerp. A flight was diverted to France (Lille) and to the Netherlands (Beek).

Since the attack, there is no traffic on the national of Belgium near Zaventem airport. At present, there can be no decision on when flown back to and from Brussels.

Regional airports are operating well.
