More soldiers in Belgian streets

The Belgian army will continue at least until March 1 patrol in Belgian cities.

It is about a thousand men, of whom more than seven hundred actually walk around in the streets to support the police. Others are used for monitoring tasks.

The soldiers appeared over a year ago in the street, after the anti-terrorist action in Verviers where two alleged jihadists were slain. The threat level was then increased to three, the second highest level. Soon it becomes clear that this level is maintained.
