Moody Blues star Ray Thomas died

British musician Ray Thomas died at the age of 76.

Thomas was one of the founders of the Moody Blues. He was part of that band until 2002. Then he returned because of his poor health. Thomas was a musical centipede: he was a singer, songwriter and played instruments. The artist announced in 2014 that he was suffering from prostate cancer.

The Moody Blues broke into the public in 1967 with their album Days Of Future Passed. Pop music and classical music were combined on the record. Nights In White Satin is the most famous number of the album. Thomas signed for the well-known flute solo in the song.
