Millions of Germans to polls

In three of the sixteen German states, Baden-Württemberg, Rhineland-Palatinate and Saxony-Anhalt, new regional parliaments to be elected Sunday.

In 2015, there are over one million refugees and migrants come to the Federal Republic, especially Muslim men. The dissatisfaction with Merkel's relatively generous policy towards refugees, leads the polls in a loss at Merkel's CDU and profits in the populists of the anti-Islam party Alternative for Germany (ADF).

But SPD and the Greens can take advantage of Merkel's hospitality Sunday because many Christian Democrat leaders have rejected Merkel's refugee policy. The CDU party leaders in Baden-Württemberg (Guido Wolf) and Rhineland-Palatinate (Julia Klöckner) for example are not fans of Merkel's policies.
