Millenia-old tomb found in Egypt

Just south of the Egyptian capital Cairo is the nearly 4,500-year-old tomb of a priest.

The grave belonged to Wahtye, a priest who was in the service of Pharaoh Neferirkare. This ruler ruled Egypt for several years in the 25th century BC. According to the inscription above the entrance to the tomb, Wahtye was, among other things, the royal priest responsible for cleaning and the inspector of the 'holy ship'.
