Menopause affects British bank executives

The British economy is in a 'menopause' because of the brexit.

Broadbent's assessment of British growth, expressed in an interview with the Daily Telegraph, comes at the moment that the central bank is looking for a successor to governor Mark Cagney.

He referred to the peak in the growth rate at the end of the nineteenth century as a translation of a technical term. Broadbent saw a similar phenomenon at the moment, for which 'menopause' seemed to be the best comparison.

The bank participates in the initiative to use word-word as gender-neutral as possible. Broadbent apologized: economic productivity is something that applies to everyone, all ages and sexes, he said.

According to the Financial Times, the chances of Broadbent after the menopause comment are drastically limited. They would have been particularly bad at Prime Minister Theresa May who must approve the nomination of the next President of the British DNB.
