Men with beer belly have more sex

Stop the presses! Research at Chapman University in Los Angeles has shown that men with a higher BMI have on average a higher number of bed partners than men with an average and low BMI.

'Although it may sound strange that overweight men have a larger number of bed partners, it is important to mention that the medical classification of 'overweight' is different, which is experienced in the social field. 'That's what David Frederick, professor at Chapman University says. This means that people who in principle 'look good' can still be overweight.

Length and number of sex partners are not related. Except that small women have fewer bed partners than tall women.

The survey was carried out in 2015 among more than sixty thousand participants with an average age of 27 years. 52 percent were male and 48 percent female.
