Meat on the table carcinogens

The World Health Organization (WHO) has, as expected, processed meat added to the list of carcinogens.

Industrially processed hamburgers, hot dogs, all kinds of ham, sausage and bacon come on the same blacklist as asbestos, alcohol and cigarettes.

Such meat products would, especially if they are eaten almost daily, increase the risk of cancer significantly.

Ordinary red meat like beef and lamb, is probably divided into the slightly less alarming category ' probably carcinogenic '.
