Measures Google after phishing attack

A large number of Google Docs users have become the victim of phishing.

The mail looked like an email from Google Docs but did not link to the techgigant's program. Users actually gave permission for full control over their Gmail account.

In a statement about The Verge, Google suggests that the company could stop phishers within an hour and that less than 0.1 percent of Gmail users were affected. Besides contact information, no other sensitive information would be taken off. Google is investigating the case.
