Measles weather to record in Europe

A record number of cases of measles have been recorded in Europe last year, partly due to an increase in parents who refuse to vaccinate their children, according to the World.

Measles is a highly contagious viral disease that can lead to deafness, brain damage and even death in children. There is a very good vaccine, but to keep the disease under control the vaccination rate among the population must be at least 95%.
