Massive earthquake in Kumamoto

TOKYO (Reuters / RTR)- The Japanese island of Kyushu is Friday again hit by a major earthquake. This was according to the US Geological Survey (USGV) a magnitude of 7. 4 and took place at a depth of 40 kilometers. The epicenter was again in the near Kumamoto. Japanese seismologists consider a possible tsunami of 1 meter high.

Thursday, the area was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 6. 6, followed by a series of aftershocks. That killed at least nine people died, hundreds were injured. Several buildings collapsed. The death toll could still rise as a result.
