Mass evacuation due to storm on the Philippines

The authorities in the Philippines have evacuated more than 40,000 people because of the tropical storm Kai-Tak that is currently crossing the country.

The provinces of Leyte and East Samar in particular have been hit hard by the weather. Three people have died, including a two-year-old child. Six others are still missing. The care providers have not yet published anything about injuries and material damage.

In the Cebu region, electricity has fallen out in many places.
