Marathon Beirut in sign of Hariri

The annual marathon of Beirut has begun on a mass protest for the return of Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Many marathon participants, both Christians and Muslims, carried banners on which they expressed support to the prime minister. Hariri has traditionally made more of the event in the Lebanese capital. 'We are all waiting for you', stood on a banner with a picture of Hariri during an earlier marathon.

The Lebanese President Michel Aoun called on Saturday to argue during the marathon for the return of Hariri. According to him, Saudi Arabia has kidnapped Hariri.
