Man wants to save Jesus, Romans attacks

A passion game in the Brazilian city of Nova Hartz was roughly interrupted on Good Friday by a spectator who tried to save Jesus from the cross.

Shortly before, bystanders had heard the man call that he 'would not let Jesus die'.

While Carl Orffs sounded Carmina Burana and a Roman soldier stuck Jesus with a lance, the spectator climbed the scene in front of a thousand astonished visitors and struck the 'Roman' with his helmet. The man could be overpowered by other actors. Nobody was injured. The passion game could be completed.

According to the Brazilian website oglobo. com the man would be confused and all left before the police were on the spot.
