Man gets lifelong for knife-attack Hamburg

A 27-year-old man who stabbed at people in a German supermarket with a knife was sentenced to life imprisonment.

The perpetrator was a deported Palestinian asylum seeker. The authorities announced earlier that he was taking a large kitchen knife from a shelf in the Edeka supermarket. Then he attacked people. The court found him guilty of murder and attempted murder. The man, Ahmad A., may possibly be released early after fifteen years.
