The legal commotion surrounding Popcorn Time is increasing and that the makers of the streaming service put up to launch a new service.

With the launch, the creators seem the core technology of Popcorn Time to want to present as a legitimate service. Butter contains all the technology to create a comprehensive streaming service, but no direct reference to piracy.
