Madrid shows German justice violence Catalonia

Spanish prosecutors have tried to convince their German counterparts at Eurojust in The Hague that the Catalan ex-prime minister Carles Puigdemont can be extradited for rebellion or mutiny.

Judges in Schleswig-Holstein have previously ruled that Puigdemont can not be extradited because of this heavy indictment, because there must then have been German standards of violence.

The Spanish Minister of Justice, Rafael Catalá, said Friday to Spanish media that a meeting at the European police organization Eurojust with German prosecutors went well. The Spaniards would have shown the Germans of violence during the chaotic and illegal attempt by Puigdemont in October to separate the region.
