Machinist hero to crash Poland

A train driver in Poland has brought to a head-on collision on the track itself and its passengers to safety.

Machinist Mateusz Szymanski (27) says in Polish media that the train was traveling more than 110 kilometers per hour. A collision was inevitable. Szymanski pulled the emergency brake and warned the passengers to lie down on the floor. Who obeyed all speed.

The train hit the back of a truck. It flew some debris along the coupe, but the damage was limited.
