Macau casinos brakes omzetval off

The casinos in the Chinese gambling paradise Macau again see their turnover last year, but not as strong as in 2015.

The casinos in the special administrative region of China ran last year a turnover of the equivalent of 26.6 billion euros. That is 3.3 percent less than a year earlier. In 2015, revenues have plummeted by more than 34 percent.

Macau, the only place in China where can legally be gambled in casinos, there has been a long time suffered from the Chinese government pursues a vigorous campaign against corruption in the country.
