Britain is considering setting up its own satellite navigation system and stepping out of the European Galileo project.

The Financial Times reported Wednesday that Britain also wants the money back that it has already paid to the Galileo project that costs ten billion euros. London has invested approximately 1.4 billion.

Galileo must be the European answer to the American GPS system. The European Commission has already started to exclude UK companies and Britain from certain information. According to the British Secretary of Commerce, Greg Clark, that threatens cooperation in the area of ​​security.
