Lifetime for killing mosque goers Quebec

The 29-year-old Alexandre Bissonnette has been sentenced to life imprisonment in Canada for killing six mosque-goers in the city of Quebec in early 2017.

The shooting shocked Canada, where shootings on this scale and with this background rarely occur. Bissonnette entered a mosque in Quebec on January 29, 2017 and shot about forty men and a few children who had gathered for an evening prayer. He did that very consciously and systematically. Five people were seriously injured, one of whom was permanently disabled.
