Leaders two Koreas speak to each other

The leaders of North and South Korea meet Friday for the first time in ten years.

The two may also reach agreement on returning the DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) to its original state. The 4-kilometer-wide no man's land runs along the line where the Korean War ended. The demilitarized zone is full of landmines and barbed wire and is guarded by soldiers from both sides.

South Korea showed its goodwill earlier this week by stopping the loudspeaker propaganda at the border. North Korea announced last weekend to immediately stop nuclear testing and missile testing.
