Leader Boko Haram denies release prisoners

A man claiming to be the leader of the Nigerian terrorist organization Boko Haram be on Friday in a video denied that prisoners have been freed.

'Paul Biya, tells lies when you say you have slain sixty of our men have saved twenty children and five thousand of you people have liberated', said to be the man who claims Abubakar Shekau. He referred to the Cameroon president.

In the video, the man also claims responsibility for attacks earlier this week, including a suicide attack in Maiduguri and an attack on the village Magumeri.

The Nigerian army in recent years has said several times that Shekau was slain or was injured.
