Large Bitcoin theft: 600 computers stolen from Icelandic data center

In Iceland around 600 computers have been stolen, which are used to extract Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies- the so-called 'mines'.

That is what foreign media report. The thieves broke four times, three times in December and once in January. In order not to jeopardize the investigation, the news about the robbery, which is called the 'Big Bitcoin Heist' in Iceland, has not been published earlier.

'This is a big theft on a scale that we have not seen before,' police commissioner Olafur Helgi Kjartansson says to AP. 'Everything indicates that this is a very organized crime. '
