KLM cancels flights to and from Bali

KLM cancels its flights to and from Bali on Sunday and Monday due to the eruption of the volcano Agung on the Indonesian island.

The airline says that it applies strict safety rules around volcanic eruptions and does not consider it safe to land and depart at Denpasar airport in the dark. Stranded passengers are rebooked as much as possible, but only on flights that take off and land with daylight.
