Kim travels to Singapore on Sunday

The North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is expected to arrive Sunday in Singapore for the meeting later in the week with US President Donald Trump.

The aircraft with Kim will land at Singapore's international Changi airport. The meeting with Trump is scheduled for Tuesday. The two leaders meet at the luxurious Capella Hotel on the island of Sentosa in the southern tip of Singapore.

When Trump arrives in Singapore, it is not known. Media in Singapore showed, among other things, photos of an American helicopter at the Paya Lebar military base near the airport, which is usually used to transport high-ranking officials.
