Killed by car bomb attack in eastern Turkey

In an attack on a police station in eastern Turkey late Wednesday least five people died.

The police station in the province of Diyarbakir and buildings were damaged in the area. The army and extra police officers have been deployed to maintain order. The wounded were taken to a hospital.

The attackers were the car bomb at the entrance of the police station have detonated. Then they opened fire on police officers. Police have arrested the attackers. It is unclear whether the attackers were trying to flee or whether they surrendered.
