Kill in shootings in Mexican hamlet

In a village near the Mexican resort of Acapulco eleven people died in shootings.

The firefight first broke out between residents of the hamlet of La Concepcion and a self-proclaimed local police force. The reason would have been the behavior of a young man during local festivities. The local police wanted to arrest him, but he sought help from fellow villagers. In a subsequent firefight eight residents died.

Then soldiers and the state police arrived to put things in order. Three agents were killed during a shotswitch with the local police.
