Kill by fighting in capital Libya

At least ten people were killed in heavy fighting in the Libyan capital Tripoli.

Airport Mitiga said that all flights have been suspended until further notice. The sound of automatic weapons and artillery was heard in the city. An official at the Ministry of Health said that at least 10 bodies were brought in at a local hospital. Another thirteen people were injured.

The internationally recognized government said the attack 'put the lives of passengers at risk, influenced aviation safety and caused fear to residents. 'According to the government, the attackers wanted to liberate extremists from a nearby prison, but that attempt would have failed.
