Kill and missing after collapsing hotel India

A multi-storey hotel has collapsed in the Indian city of Indore.

The building, which also houses a large restaurant, suddenly collapsed late on Saturday night (local time). Rescue workers could get a dozen people out of the rubble, local media reports. The wounded have been rushed to the hospital.

The rescue operation is ongoing and it is feared that dozens of people are still under the rubble. Rescue people try to remove the debris with breakers and chainsaws. The authorities believe that the death toll will still rise.

In August last year, a flat in Mumbai collapsed, 33 people were killed.
