Kavanaugh strikes back: this is a disgrace

Candidate-Chief Judge Brett Kavanaugh started his hearing for the Senate committee on Thursday but could hardly control his emotions at times.

'This confirmation process has become a national shame', he said about his nomination to be approved by the Senate. He said that immediately after allegations had been made he had asked for a hearing. 'Why did those ten days have to wait? My family and my name have been permanently destroyed by the accusations. '

The hearing with Kavanaugh began after Christine Blasey Ford's hour-long interview. He accuses Kavanaugh of having treated her immorally during a party in 1982. The judge denies that. Kavanaugh stated that he will not be intimidated to retreat.
