Judge thwarts Trump around illegal childrens law

An American judge in San Francisco has stopped abolishing the so-called DACA program.

The American president Donald Trump wants to get rid of it, but the judge determined that the regulation will remain in effect as long as the legal battle over this decision continues.

Trump believes that the United States can not just allow everyone. The group of almost 800,000 people could, according to Obama's scheme, apply for a work permit. The government of Trump believes that they can take jobs from those who actually have a right to work.

New requests from people who did not previously fall under the scheme do not have to be processed. But extension requests must simply be dealt with, the judge ruled.
