Japanese trains bark like dogs to chase deer

Woof woof, the train is coming.

For when it is dark outside, deer often stand on rails. This causes many accidents.

In 2016, in 2016 there were collisions with a deer in Japan. In a test with a 'barking' train, it appeared that the number of collisions had dropped by 45 percent.

The barking can always be heard for twenty seconds. That precedes the sound of a sniffing deer. That will take three seconds.
