Japan prepares for Korean crisis

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe has called on North Korea Monday to refrain from further provocations and stop the development of nuclear missiles.

Abe said that already is considered the measures to be taken as an example of refugees is underway and Japanese citizens to be evacuated from South Korea. So should be considered include the possible housing and protection of any refugees.

A government official said Friday that the National Security Council of Japan has already discussed how the approximately 60 000 Japanese people have to be evacuated in South Korea in case of a crisis. Tokyo is already longer worry about the weapons programs of the unpredictable regime in Pyongyang.
