Japan outraged image for sex slaves

A bronze statue of a young woman with bare feet has sparked a diplomatic row between Japan and South Korea.

The Japanese government called the statue 'extremely regrettable' and considers it a violation of a previous agreement. The countries signed a 'definitive and irreversible agreement' about the comfort women by 2015, as called euphemistically often forced women into prostitution. Japan apologized and promised to pay converted 8 million to a fund that helps victims of yesteryear. By far the most life anymore.

The picture in Busan is not the first or only memorial for Korean victims. In the South Korean capital Seoul is more similar picture since 2011, right in front of the Japanese Embassy.
