Israel cleans houses in Ofra on

Israeli security forces Tuesday began the slaughter of nine houses in the settlement of Ofra in the West Bank.

The houses were put down on Palestinian private land and the owners had objected to the construction. The judge ruled that the houses had disappeared for March 5th. A request to seal the premises and not to destroy, the judge put aside.

The decision for destruction called a lot of emotion. As a precaution hundreds of policemen and soldiers in Ofra were present. One boy of seventeen was arrested. When the cull had already started eight of the nine Israeli families voluntarily left their homes.
