Islamic State kills 26 Syrian soldiers

Warriors Islamic State have executed Monday 26 Syrian soldiers.

The executions took Monday west of the city of Palmyra city. Syrian government troops advance for days on under the protection of Russian combat aircraft towards the city. Russian President Vladimir Putin said last week that the Syrian army Palmyra will recover quickly IS, which the city owns almost a year.

Palmyra has both symbolic and military value. The city has a wealth of Roman excavations, which is largely destroyed by the terrorist movement. Moreover, it is on a main thoroughfare.
