IS expelled from airbase in Libya

Pro-government fighters have Islamic State expelled from an airbase in the Libyan city of Sirte.

The fighting came Saturday three pro-government fighters were killed, the spokesman said. About casualties is not known on the side of Islamic State.

The captured base is located about 20 kilometers outside the center of IS stronghold Sirte. The terror group has in recent weeks further driven back to the city.
