IS executes 12 prisoners in Palmyra

Members of the terrorist group Islamic State have in the ancient city of Palmyra, at least a dozen prisoners were executed in eastern Syria, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Thursday.

HAS conquered Palmyra in December for the second time on the Syrian government army, which is then focused on the conquest of Aleppo in northern Syria.

According to the Observatory were four people- officials and teachers- beheaded for a museum. Eight others- four government soldiers and four rebels were captured elsewhere in Syria taken- were shot. Some executions took place in an ancient Roman theater in Palmyra. That took place last year at least 25 government soldiers killed.
