Intel wants to make processor for iPhone

Chip manufacturer Intel has plans to make chips for new iPhones .

According to VentureBeat, Intel is currently a team of 1000 employees sit on the modem project. It should have been ready in time for the launch of the iPhone 7, which opens in 2016. Presumably Intel addition of Apple will also use LTE modems from Qualcomm, which it already buys chips.

According to sources, the publication Intel would use this order as a step towards making the entire processor of future iPhones. The current A9 SOC iPhone 6s and 6s Plus is made by Samsung and TSMC. Although Intel is an ace on the processor market for computers, the company has to conquer the greatest difficulty for market share in the mobile market . A deal with Apple would be very beneficial for the company.
