Injured in train derailment USA

More than thirty people have been injured Monday by the derailment of a train in the US state of Kansas.

The train ran west of the city Dodge City off the rails. The Amtrak train, 'The Southwest Chief,' was with 145 people on board en route from Chicago to Los Angeles. Five of the nine carriages overturned in the derailment, reported public broadcaster NPR. Amtrak is investigating the cause of the accident.

The tourist Southwest Chief runs daily from Chicago to Los Angeles or vice versa. Rail is a journey of almost 3650 kilometers. The accident happened about halfway through the process.
