Imams gathered information about Gülen supporters

Imams in Germany have collected information on suspected Gülen supporters.

Bekir Alboga, the Secretary General of DITIB, spoke about a misunderstanding. There was a written request for this information from the Turkish Diyanet religion presidency however was not directed DITIB. However, some imams in Germany would have collected information. He said that only three imams had followed the Turkish request.

Gülen lives in the United States. He is considered by the regime in Ankara as public enemy number one, the man who is in Turkey after the failed coup of July last year. Turkey already has thousands of people arrested on suspicion of ties to Gülen and involvement in the coup attempt.
