IAEA: Iran is adhering to a nuclear deal

Iran still sticks to the most important agreements from the atomic agreement.

The atomic agreement between Iran and the great powers dates back to 2015. The main goal was to prevent Tehran from developing a nuclear weapon. The American president Donald Trump has now thrown the agreements into the trash and imposed sanctions again. The other countries that have signed the agreement are displeased.

Although the agreement is under pressure from the US government's actions, the IAEA still monitors compliance with the deal. The organization concludes that Iran no longer has low enriched uranium and heavy water in stock than is permitted. Controllers were able to carry out the necessary inspections to determine this, according to the quarterly report.
