Houses immigrant families torched

In Wallerstein in southern Germany has set fire to an apartment building and the house next to it.

Twelve people, including seven children, were wounded. Eleven of them had inhaled too much smoke, the twelfth suffered burns on his hands when he tried to extinguish the fire himself.

The perpetrator may have acted out of xenophobia, police say. A 22-year-old man who stood looking at the extinguishing and behaved suspiciously, was arrested.
