House issues vote on compromise law

It does not look like there will be a new immigration law that President Donald Trump wants in the short term.

According to the American media, the leaders of the Republican Party decided to postpone the vote on a milder variant until Friday to amend the text of the compromise proposal so that hardliners and moderate Republicans could agree.

That the strict law of Goodlatte would not make it was expected. It dealt with the financing of the border wall with Mexico, the limitation of the visa provision and the temporary protection of 'dreamers', established immigrants who entered the US as a child, against expulsion.

The Democrats must also have nothing of an attenuated version. Group President Nancy Pelosi spoke of a 'compromise with the devil', although it offers the dreamers more perspective on citizenship.
