Heat demands three lives in Spain

The heat has certainly claimed three lives in Spain in recent days.

The man later died in the hospital. Medical emergency services reported this to the El Periódico newspaper. Two others heat-killed died in Murcia.

A 78-year-old man succumbed to a heat stroke. He had incurred it during work on his own piece of land. A 48-year-old man from Murcia died because he was overcome by the heat during road works.

It is extremely hot in large parts of Spain. In both Barcelona and Murcia the temperature rose to above 35 degrees in recent days.
