Grenfell researchers: system is inadequate

Experts investigating the deadly fire in the London Grenfell Tower are not for a ban on flammable siding.

The fire in Grenfell Tower killed 71 people last year. The fire spread rapidly through the façade panels on the outside.

Principal investigator Judith Hackitt states that some people 'do not take responsibility for dropping buildings that are too unsafe to live in.' 'She concluded that the entire system should be shaken and, inter alia, calls for stricter punishments as soon as building regulations are ignored.
