Greek FIOD exchanges uniform for swimwear

Greek tax inspectors exchange their uniform regularly for the bermuda and swimsuit in the major tourist resorts to find financial fraud.

The 'stillers' of the Greek FIOD must dress and act as holidaymakers by ordering a drink for example. The purpose is to check what happens to the account and whether cash is being processed. In addition, they must keep their eyes open for any black workers under the staff. Special attention is paid to the rental of beach beds and sun loungers. In this 'golden business', receipts are sometimes forgotten.
